Research and Development (R&D)

AT Software has a long standing experience in R&D activity being one of few companies on the Russian IT-market that implement highly intensive scientific projects.

The core of our research and development team consists of professors, researchers and graduates of Mathematics and Mechanics Engineering Faculty of St. Petersburg State University. Our leading specialists have advanced academic degrees and professional certificates. Long-term cooperation with the University gives us an almost unlimited supply of the most talented graduates and researchers.

There is an opinion, that if a customer is in need to solve difficult mathematical task, he is to apply for Russian developers. It is proved by several long-term projects for American and European customers. For many years our company has been working at the project with American customer who required to implement the system that simplifies maintenance of legacy programs written on COBOL, PL/1, Adabas Natural, RPG, JCL, C and other languages. We have a wide experience of both tool development and of their use for real applications.

Currently, research activity of AT Software is divided into the two following areas: implemented projects (almost or ready for market) and potentially perspective projects (R&D stage of implementation).
